From Designer to Programmer

I have been working as a Graphic Designer for almost 10 years now, a considerable portion of that time I have worked as a professional Print Designer. Recently I have made the decision to learn programming. More specifically Objective-C, a programming language used for app design. Early next year I hope to take come classes on the subject but right now I am going trough some tutorials ("for dummies" is proving to be informative) to familiarise myself with it.
